Location: This tour is held in Abramov mountain knot and in Dugoba mountain knot, Pamiro-Alay, Republic of Kyrgyzstan.

Best timeto travel is May the 15^th to June the 30^th

 

Group size.This adventure travel holiday is generally limited to a maximum 14 people, not including any trek leaders or journalists. We feel that larger group sizes have an adverse for the natural environments and cultures.

 

The Pamiro-Alay circuit contains more than 10 peaks of 5000 meters, surrounded by great frozen areas, and snowy cover on the altitude of 3000 meters is all the year round. It allows making skiing descents in summer time as well. If winter skiing in this area is hampered owing to weather conditions (numerous of sediments, great frost); on the contrary, summer conditions are favourable for skiing. However, you must take into account that skiing will be in high areas (H=3000-4500 m.),extents of descents is about 2-4 km. and drop in altitudes for one descent is about 2000 m. All above demands some physical preparations and high level of technique in mountain skiing. That is why this tour might be referred to the extreme category.

 

Programme

Day 1.Arrive Tashkent. Met at the international airport. Transfer to the domestic airport “Sergeli”. Fly to tourist centre “Dugaba” by a helicopter (T=100min). Accommodation in cottages (3 pax per a cottage). Preparation of the equipment necessary for skiing in the mountains.

Days 2-4.Mountain-skiing descents in the area of Dugoba.

Days 5-6.Mountain-skiing descents in the area of Abramov glacier. End skiing. Fly back to the domestic airport “Sergeli” by a helicopter. (T=100min). Transfer to a hotel. Dinner.

Day 7.Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the international airport. Depart Tashkent.
