Uzgen. Located 54 km from the city of Osh, on the right bank of the Kara (Syr Darya basin). Uzgen located between the major cities of Osh and Jalal-Abad region of southern Kyrgyzstan. Uzgen is one of the oldest cities in Kyrgyzstan, with more than two millennia. Emerged in the II-I centuries. BC as a trading center on the way from the Fergana Valley to Kashgar.
