Location: This tour is held on Western Pamiro-Alay, Osh region, Republic of Kyrgyzstan and in Fergana region of Republic of Uzbekistan.

The high Alay extends in the South –West of Kyrgyzstan and in the North – East of Central Tadjikistan in the heart of the circuit of Pamiro – Alay Mountains. There are more than 10 mountains of 5000 m high surrounded by frozen areas in this region. Northern part of high Alay borders on Fergana valley, Southern part on Surkhob – Kyzylsu valley (Alay).
The region of high Alay might be easily divided into vast massifs. First of them is between gorges of Northern and Southern Tutek rivers at Zardaly on the one hand and between basins of Jangidavan river in the East on the other hand. The second one is in suburbs of the Abramov glacier. Both of them are western part of Alay, Dugoba mountain knot is the eastern part.
Programme
Day 1.Arrival in Tashkent. Met at the airport and transfer to a hotel. Check in the hotel. A time to relax. Lunch. Excursion around the architectural monuments of Tashkent city, including visit to Kukeldash Medresseh (CXVI), Barak-Khan Medresseh (CXVI), Kaffal Al Shashe Mausoleum (CXVI), Khast-Imam complex and Orient Bazaar of Chor-Su for 4 hours. Dinner.
Day 2.Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Fertile Fergana Valley. Lunch en route. On the way sightseeing programme included visit to Eski-Kurgan fortress (CXIII), Khudoyar –Khan Urde palace, Narbuta Biya medresseh, Djuma mosque. Upon arrival in Fergana, check in a hotel. Dinner.
Day 3.Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the tourist camp of Shakhimardan (Khamzaabad) (H=1400m). Excursion programme around suburbs of Shakhimardan. Lunch en route. Then drive to the Kurbankul lake (D=7km.). Overnight on the shore of Kurbankul Lake in tents.
Day 4.Commence trekking. Cross the Kurbankul pass (H=3530m.). Descend to Ulitor gorge. Overnight on the bank of Ulitor River in tents.
Day 5.Walk to Ulitor pass (H=4611m.). Overnight under this mountain pass.
Day 6.Cross the Ulitor pass (H=4611m.). Overnight on the moraine of Dugoba glacier. The wonderful panorama of the Dugob “horseshoe” is observed prom the mountain pass.
Day 7.Walk to Egorov glacier under the pass of Krylya Sovetov (Soviet Wings).
Day 8.Cross the pass of Krylya Sovetov (Soviet Wings) (H=4650m). The majestic views of Zaalayskiy range, Egorov and Tashkent glaciers, Southern slopes of the Uzbekistan Peak (H=5232m) “horseshoe” are observed prom the mountain pass. Overnight on the bank of the Korakazyk River.
Day 9.Walk along the valley of Kek-su River, en route visit to the stay of primitive men en route with survey of petrographs there. Overnight on the bank of the Kek-Su River.
Day 10.Walk up over the Abramov glacier up to the mountain hydro-forecasting station "Abramov Glacier" (H=3880m). Acquaintance with the staff and work of this station. Excursion around this glacier. Accommodation in the houses of the mountain hydro-forecasting station "Abramov Glacier".
Day 11.Cross the Djilsu (Abramov) pass (H=4560m). Overnight at the foot of this mountain pass.
Day 12.From the foot of this mountain pass walk down to the hot springs of Djilsu River. Overnight on the bank of the above River.
Day 13.Day to relax. Swimming in the Hot Springs. (Reserve day).
Day 14.Walk through the juniper forest of the valley of the Djilsu River up to its confluence with Guamysh River. Overnight at the confluence of the above rivers after dinner near a bonfire.
Day 15.Walk up along the Guamysh River. En route there will be ruins of ancient settlements. Overnight on the bank of the Guamysh River.
Day 16.Wals up along the Guamysh River to the foot of the Western Guamysh pass. Overnight under this mountain pass.
Day 17.Cross the Guamysh pass (H=4075m). Descend to Alauddin gorge. Overnight on the “rocky gates” of that area (15km from Khaydarkent).
Day 18.Reserve day.
Day 19.Transfer to Tashkent. Lunch en route. Check in a hotel. Dinner.
Day 20.Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure from Tashkent.

Tashkent - Fergana - Shakhimardan - Tashkent - on a general-duty cross-country vehicle
On trek - pack animals (horses)
