After visit to Bukhara, tourists will visit Samarkand – ancient capital of Tamerlane’s empire. The architecture of this city is as majestic as its history. Fan Mountains are located on the South – West of the mountain circuit of the Pamiro – Alay. This tour lies through Alaudin and Kulikolon lakes, one of the most remarkable places of that Region. Ascending to the pass, picturesque panoramas of mountains with numerous amazing summits thanks to their beauty will come in your sight.
A unique part of the Pamir mountains, land of lakes and clouded peaks, with interesting legends. Picturesque valleys of Zindan and Archimaidan, mysterious beauty of the Bolshoi (Big) Allo lake amongst vertical rocks, the beautiful chain of Kulikalonskiy and Alaudinskiy lakes, great waterfalls. Programme
Day 1.Arrival in Tashkent. Met and transfer to a hotel. Check in the hotel. Lunch. Excursion around the architectural monuments of Tashkent city, including visit to Kukeldash madrasah, Barak-Khan, Khast-Imam complex and Orient Bazaar of Chor-Su for 4 hours. Dinner . Hotel.
Day 2.Breakfast. Morning visit to Tamerlane’s museum. Lunch. Transfer to the airport for a flight Tashkent-Bukhara. Arrival in Bukhara, met and transfer to a hotel. Check in the hotel. Dinner.
Day 3.Breakfast. Excursion around the ancient city of Bukhara, including visit to Ark- fortress citadel, complexes of Bolo-House and Laby-House, Chor-Minor mausoleum. Lunch. Continuing sightseeing programme with visit to the summer residence of the last emir of Bukhara, Sitora-I-Mokhi-Khosa, mausoleum named after Ismail Samani, Poy-Kalyan complex. Dinner . Hotel.
Day 4.Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer from Bukhara to Samarkand.(D=270km, T=4-4.5hrs.). On arrival in Samarkand, check in the hotel. Lunch. Excursion around the ancient city of samarkand, including visit to the famous Registan Square, Gur-Emir mausoleum, Bibi-Khanum mosque, Ulugbek observatory, Shakh-I-Zinda complex of mausoleums, Afrosiab museum. Dinner . Hotel.
Day 5.Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to alpine camp of Artuch (T=4-4.5 hrs). Rest. Preparation for trekking. Dinner. Overnight in cottages in the alpine camp of Artuch.
Day 6.Pedestrian walking in Artuch area. Preparation of caravan for commence of trek. Rest. Overnight in the alpine camp of Artuch.
Day 7.Walk along a good path to Kulikalonskiy lakes (T=4 hrs) with the accompaniment of a caravan of pack animals (donkeys). The unique Kulikalonskaya wall, juniper groves, and the beautiful peaks of Mirali and Maria surround these blue lakes. Camping on the shore of Dushoha Lake.
Day 8.Walk in suburbs of Kulikalonskiy lakes, bathing.
Day 9.Cross Alaudinskiy Pass (H=3860 m) and lakes of the same name (T=5 hrs). From the pass you can see a splendid scattering of lakes of different colours beginning from lilac to turquoise contrasted with the severe walls of Chandara. Also you will enjoy the beautiful panorama of Fan mountains with summits of mountains of 5000m high, like: Chapdara, Badkhona, Cimtarga. Camping on the shore of the Lake.
Day 10.Walk to Mutnoi Lake (H=3900m, T=6-7 hrs). View of the most beautiful peaks of Kaznok, Chimtarga, Energy, Zamok (Castle). Camping on the shore of the lake. Ascend to Kaznok pass to see the panoramas of the surrounding mountains and back to the camp.
Day 11.Reserve day. A day to relax on the shore of the Alaudinskiy Lakes with setting camp.
Day 12.Descend to gorge of Imat (T=5-6 hrs).
Day 13.Transfer to Tashkent via Ayni, Pendjikent and Samarkand (T=12-12.5 hrs). Lunch en route. Arrival in Tashkent. Check in a hotel. Dinner.
Day 14.Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Depart Tashkent.

Day 6. Rest on the shore of the Iskanderkul Lake. Preparation for trekking.
Day 7.Commence trekking. From the bridge through Sarytag River ascend to the most picturesque gorge of Arg River (T=6-7 hrs.). Overnight on the shore of the Arg River.
Day 8. Ascend along the gorge of the Arg River upto the confluence of Kaznok and Akhbosoy Rivers (T=6-7 hrs.). Overnight on the bank near this confluence.
Day 9.Ascend onto Eastern part of Kaznok pass with panorama of the surrounding mountains (T=6-6.5 hrs). A time to relax. Dinner. Overnight in the tents under this Pass.
Day 10.Cross Eastern Kaznok pass (H=4040 m, T=5-6 hrs.). A little relax on the pass and descend to Mutnoi Lake (H=3900m, T=2-2.5 hrs). View of the most beautiful peaks of Kaznok, Chimtarga, Energy, Zamok (Castle). Camping on the shore of the lake.
Day 11.Ascend to Chimtarga pass (H=4740 m, T=7.5-8 hrs). One of the most difficult days of trekking rewarded by unforgettable views of Zerachsnaskiy and Gissarskiy ranges. A time to relax on the Pass and return to the camp.
Day 12.Descend to Alaudinskiy Lakes (T=3-3.5 hrs.) Camping on the shore of the lake.
Day 13.Reserve day.
