Tashkent- Samarkand - Sahkhrizhabz-Bukhara - Urgench - Khiva- Tashkent

 

Programme

Day 1. Arrive Tashkent.

On arrival in Tashkent, met and transfer to a hotel for check in, refreshment, free time. Lunch. Enjoy sightseeing around the city of Tashkent for 4 hours included visiting the Amir Timur Square, Theatres Square, Monument of Courage, Khast-Imam Complex (CXVI) consisted of the Barak-Khan Madrassah, Kaffal-al-Shashi Mausoleum and Tilla-Sheikh Mosque. Kukeldash Madrassah (CXVI), orient bazaar of Chor-Su. Dinner.

Day 2. Tashkent, Tashkent-Samarkand

Breakfast at the hotel. AM first portion of the sightseeing tour around Tashkent for 3 hours with visits to the Museum of Applied Art, Square of Peoples Friendship, Abdul Kasim Madrassah (CXIX). Lunch. Afternoon drive to Samarkand. (D=290km, T=4.5-5hrs.). On arrival in Samarkand check in a hotel. Dinner.

Day 3. Samarkand

Breakfast at the hotel. AM excursion around Samarkand for 4 hrs. included visiting Ulugbek Observatory (CXV), Tombstone of Saint Daniar, excavations of an ancient city and museum of Afrosiab,  Shakhi-Zinda necropolis (CCXI-XV). Lunch. Go on sightseeing tour for 3 hours with visits to the Registan Square with its three madrassahs of Ulugbek, Sher-Dor and Tilla-Kori. Dinner .

Day 4. Samarkand

Breakfast at the hotel. AM excursion around Samarkand for 4 hrs. included visiting Gur-Emir Mausoleum of Tamerlane's dynasty (CXIV), Rukhabad Ensemble (CCXIV-XIX), Khazret Khizir Mosque (CVII), Bibi-Khanum Mosque (CCXIV-XV),and an orient bazaar. Lunch. Go on sightseeing tour for 3 hours with visits to the Khodja Akhrar Complex (CXVII), Abdi Darun Mausoleum (CXV), Ishrat Khona Mausoleum (CXV). Free time. Dinner. 

Day 5. Samarkand-Shakhrizhabz, Shakhrizhabz, Shakhrizhabz-Bukhara

Breakfast at the hotel. AM drive to Shakhrizhabz - home town of Tamerlane the Great (D=160km, T=2-2.5hrs.). On arrival, sightseeing tour around the town of Shakhrizhabz including visits to Ak-Saray Palace (CCXIV-XV), Darus Saodat Complex (CCXIV-XIX), Darus Tillavat Complex (CCXV), Orient Saunas (CCXIV-XVII). Lunch. Drive to Bukhara. (D=300km, T=4.5 hrs.). Bukhara is the well known city all over the world thanks to its ancient monuments remained from epoch of the Samanid's dynasty dominated there at their times. Lunch. Check in a hotel. Dinner.

Day 6. Bukhara.Breakfast at the hotel. Full day sightseeing tour around Bukhara. AM portion of the excursion for 4 hrs. includes visiting Ark Fortress- Citadel (CCV-XIX), Bolo-House Mosque (CXVII), Ismail Samani Mausoleum (CIX), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum (CCXII-XVI). Lunch. Go on sightseeing tour for 4 hours afternoon with visits to the old part of the city, from Poi-Kalan Complex with Kalan Minaret (CXII) through orient bazaar with tree cupolas of Toki Zargaron (CXVI), Toki Sarrafon (CXVI), Toki Telpak  Furushon (CXVI) to Laby –House Complex (CCXVI-XVII). Dinner.

Day 7. Bukhara

Breakfast at the hotel. AM first portion of the sightseeing tour around Bukhara for 3 hours with visits to Bogoutddin Nakshbandi Complex (CXIV), Summer Residence of Emir Sitora-A-Mokhi-Khosa (CXIX). Lunch. Go on sightseeing tour for 3 hours afternoon with visits to Chor-Bakr Complex of Mausoleums (CVII), Folklor program.. Dinner.  

Day 8. Bukhara-Urgench.Breakfast at the hotel. Free time. Early lunch. Transfer to Urgench via the Kyzyl-Kum desert and Amu –Darya River (D=470km, T= 7hrs). Check in a hotel. Dinner.

Day 9. Urgench (Khiva).Urgench-Tashkent.

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy full day sightseeing in Khiva (30km from Urgench) including visits to the inner town of Ichan-Kala (CCV-XX) consisted of Kalta Minor Minaret,  Shirgizi Khana Madrassah, Djuma Mosque, Tash-Khauli Palace, Muhammad Alin Khana Madrassah, Divan Begi Madrassah, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, Shirgazi-Khan Madrassah, Islam Khogja Madrassah, Abdulla Khona Madrassah. Lunch in a national house with an Uzbek family. PM return to Urgench for the direct fly to Tashkent (T=1.5hrs. in the air). Arrival in Tashkent, met and transfer to a hotel for check in. Dinner.

Day 10. Depart Tashkent.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Depart Tashkent.

 

The price quoted for this programme includes the following:
